CoachStation Leadership Development Program

Leadership Development Program for Managers and Leaders

More than a program. A coaching and mentoring experience with the structure, tools, and support to transform your leadership.

Combining personalised coaching with practical modules and meaningful resources to help you grow as a leader, build confidence, and create lasting impact across Brisbane and Australia.

The Case for CSLDP

Leadership Blindspots Are Costing You More Than You Think

Most managers are promoted to leadership roles without real preparation. The technical skills that earned the promotion rarely include the people skills, self-awareness, and communication capability that leadership actually demands. The gap between intent and impact grows quietly until it becomes visible in team performance, culture, and retention.

The CoachStation Leadership Development Program helps leaders build the mindset, skills, and confidence to lead effectively, no matter their role, experience, or industry.

CSLDP participants consistently describe three shifts: they become more effective, more efficient, and stronger as leaders. They report that the skills stay with them long after the program ends, and that CSLDP is the most effective development experience they have encountered, across courses, workshops, and management programs.

When your leaders grow, your entire organisation benefits. CSLDP is how you make that happen, practically, measurably, and sustainably.

💬

"Working with Steve over the past 12 months has been perhaps the single biggest source of growth in my professional development to date. Steve was able to provide principles and tools I refer to every day, and know I will carry with me and continue to develop over the coming years. Our sessions were genuine and filled with meaningful conversation."

The Program Content

12 Modules. Practical, Structured, and Personalised.

All CSLDP tiers include access to all modules with tools and resources designed to improve knowledge, self-awareness, competence, and real-world leadership skills. Each module builds on the last, creating a development journey that deepens over time rather than delivering isolated learning events.

  • Maintain energy, purpose, and focus under sustained pressure.

The Problem

The Leadership Challenge You Cannot Afford to Ignore

Most leadership development fails because it is too generic, too theoretical, and disconnected from the realities leaders face every day. Translating learning into how you actually lead and influence people is critical, and it is the central focus of everything we do at CoachStation.

The Cost

Poor Team Engagement

Low morale, misalignment, and disengagement ripple through teams when leaders lack the capability to connect, communicate, and hold people accountable effectively. Disengaged teams do the minimum, not the meaningful, and the cost shows up in output, culture, and attrition long before it appears on a dashboard.

The Cost

High Turnover

Replacing a single employee can cost up to 150% of their annual salary. Leadership quality and capability have the single greatest impact on retention, yet it is the most underdeveloped lever in most organisations. People do not leave companies. They leave leaders who cannot lead them well.

The Cost

Stressed and Underprepared Leaders

Without real-world skills, leaders feel overwhelmed. That affects decision-making, trust, and performance, and creates a culture where people manage up rather than lead forward.

The Cost

Unclear Expectations and Poor Accountability

When leaders cannot set clear expectations or hold people to them with confidence, accountability disappears. Standards drift, performance conversations are avoided, and the same issues keep surfacing without resolution.

You choose the number of coaching and mentoring sessions that best suit your goals, development areas, and focus. CSLDP flexes to where you are, not a fixed one-size-fits-all schedule.
What You Can Expect

Outcomes and Benefits

CSLDP does not just increase knowledge. It builds measurable capability, confidence, and results. The leaders who have been through CSLDP describe it as an investment that pays off in ways they did not expect, professionally, personally, and in the performance of their teams.

Heightened Leadership Confidence

Leaders stop second-guessing and start leading with clarity, ownership, and resilience. Confidence builds through practice, reflection, and real-world application, not theory.

Stronger Team Engagement and Performance

Enhanced relationships, communication, and trust lead to stronger team buy-in, clearer accountability, and genuine collaboration that shows up in results.

Higher Retention and Reduced Turnover

Better leadership leads to better retention and less cost, disruption, and lost talent. People stay longer when they are led well and given room to grow.

Clearer Expectations and Accountability

Leaders set expectations with confidence, hold better conversations, and take ownership of outcomes. The ambiguity and avoidance that drain performance disappear.

Self-Awareness, EI, and Influence

Develop the ability to lead with authenticity and empathy. Improve impact through clearer communication, coaching conversations, and stronger influence across the team.

Resilience, Culture, and Lasting Change

Equip leaders to stay effective through change, challenge, and ambiguity. CSLDP strengthens leadership consistency, which strengthens culture, trust, and alignment across the organisation.

Where It All Leads

Business Performance and Results

Every capability CSLDP builds, confidence, engagement, accountability, communication, and trust, leads to one place: tangible improvement in how your organisation performs. Leadership behaviour is the single most controllable driver of productivity, retention, and culture. This is where the investment shows up on the bottom line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the CoachStation Leadership Development Program, how it works, which tier is right for you, and what to expect across the twelve months.

The CSLDP is a 12-month, 13-module leadership development program that combines personalised 1:1 coaching with practical tools, structured learning, and real-world application. It is designed to turn what leaders know into how they lead, building measurable growth in confidence, capability, and impact.

Unlike generic leadership training, the CSLDP is tailored to each leader's context, goals, and challenges. Every participant receives direct coaching and mentoring alongside the structured content, ensuring the learning connects to their actual leadership situations rather than remaining theoretical. It is suitable for emerging leaders through to experienced leaders ready to deepen their practice.

All three tiers include access to all 13 learning modules, four downloadable eBooks, 20+ resources and assessments, CS CoachBot access, and a signed copy of Falling Into Leadership. The difference is depth of coaching and additional features.

Core ($4,150 ex-GST) includes five coaching sessions and is ideal for leaders building foundational capability. Elevation ($5,150 ex-GST) adds a sixth session, a Leadership Self-Assessment, and a Personal Development Plan. Mastery ($6,350 ex-GST) includes seven sessions plus StrengthsFinder 2.0, Alumni Mentor Matching, a Stakeholder Strategy Session, and a personalised feedback summary.

The 13 modules cover the full spectrum of practical leadership capability: The Leadership Trifecta (Coach, Lead, Manage); Leadership Presence; Reducing Assumptions and Setting Expectations; Communication that Connects; Emotional Intelligence and Authentic Leadership; Developing Trust and Psychological Safety; Unlocking Team Potential; Mastering Priorities and Focus; Strategic Thinking; Leading Change; Adaptive Leadership and Resilience; Digital Intelligence and Leading in a Tech-Driven World; and a consolidation module that revisits growth milestones and sets a forward development plan.

Each module connects directly to real leadership situations, with tools and frameworks that can be applied immediately between sessions rather than stored as theory.

Most leadership training fails because it is too generic, too theoretical, and disconnected from the realities leaders face every day. A course delivers content. The CSLDP delivers capability. The difference is that every element of the program is anchored to the leader's real workplace, real challenges, and real goals through the coaching relationship.

Participants apply what they learn between sessions in actual leadership situations, then bring that experience back to their coach for reflection, adjustment, and deepening. This cycle of learn, apply, reflect, and refine is what creates lasting behaviour change rather than temporary awareness.

Yes. CoachStation can issue an invoice and align development goals with your employer's leadership framework and priorities. This is one of the most common methods of participation. If you are approaching your employer about funding, CoachStation can provide a program overview and support you in framing the business case. A downloadable program brochure is available on this page to share with relevant stakeholders.

Yes. You can upgrade at any time by paying the difference between tiers. Additional coaching and mentoring sessions can also be purchased whenever needed throughout the program. If your goals or circumstances shift during the twelve months, the program is designed to flex with you rather than locking you into a fixed structure that no longer fits.

Participants in the Elevation and Mastery tiers receive a personalised certificate of completion at the end of the program. Beyond the certificate, participants leave with a documented personal development plan, a library of tools and frameworks they continue to use, and a meaningful record of their leadership growth across twelve months. Book a discovery call to discuss which tier is right for your goals.
